We believe that creating inclusivity in a workplace helps us attract a diverse employee base, who bring a wide variety of perspectives and ideas to drive further innovation.

Marex has developed a series of initiatives internally and with partners across the sector to highlight and solve issues of diversity and inclusion.

We are committed to equal pay and monitor employee diversity including voluntarily publishing a gender pay gap report for our UK business. We continue to review pay across the businesses to maintain parity between roles of the same grade.

In 2019, Carla Stent was appointed as Chair. Carla’s passion about spearheading diversity and inclusion has led to the development of programmes focused on driving change in recruitment and internal development. We also support activities to encourage the industry to attract more female applicants including working closely with other companies and the London Metal Exchange.

Alongside the challenges posed by COVID-19, we have developed a more flexible working culture and improved our parental leave policies for mothers and fathers in response to employee feedback.
