Purpose of Role:
Marex is seeking a Junior Broker for the EQD desk. This will be an ambitious and proactive individual in junior level position with the ability to work autonomously, and also as part of a team. Provide support to senior brokers with orders and post-trade analysis

Responsibilities:
- Analyze financial data and market microstructure for patterns.
- Perform post-trade analysis.
- Work with senior traders to acquire in-depth knowledge of financial markets, modeling, and risk management.
- Develop new VBA and Python programs to support trade flow.
- Maintain Excel and VBA database with pricing information.
- Develop trade generating tools based on dividend forecast.
- Assist Senior Brokers with order pricings.
- Back up back-office for email confirmations, sending fills to clients.
- Assist Senior brokers with OTC Trades by creating the PDF confirmation to directly send to clients
- Handle Canada trades with EMSX tickets from Bloomberg, clearing and confirmations to clients
- Proactively review trade flow and middle/back-office processes to create efficiencies.
- Ensure compliance with the company’s regulatory requirements under the SEC, FINRA, CFTC, NFA and other applicable exchanges.
- Adhere to the operational risk framework for your role ensuring that all regulatory or company determined parameters are complied with

Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, economics, and/or a related field preferred
- Proactive mindset in keeping up to date with market research and incorporating into role efficiently

- Comprehensive knowledge of the financial service markets and relevant regulatory requirements
- Experience of the infrastructural support required to efficiently support the OTC business lines
- Experience working in a regulated environment and knowledge of the risk and compliance requirements associated with this
- Experience in operating on electronic market making infrastructure
- Excellent verbal written and communication skills
- Advanced user of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint skills
- Excel especially requires experience and advanced skills with VBAs, Macros, Pivot Tables.
- Proactive mindset in keeping up to date with market research and incorporating into role efficiently.
- Analytical skills, identifying opportunities and risks in a quick and decisive manner.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the financial service markets and relevant regulatory requirement.
- Series 3 preferred or ability to study for and successfully pass within 3 months of hire.
Salary Range: $70,000 to $90,000 per year and eligible for discretionary bonus.
