Marex Spectron Sponsors LME Tokyo Gala

Marex Spectron, the global commodities broker, was a proud sponsor of the London Metal Exchange’s Tokyo Gala held on 28 November 2016

This half-day conference included many of the biggest commodity producers, industrial consumers and trading houses operating in the Japanese market.

Also in attendance was Simon van den Born, Marex Spectron’s Global Head of Metals, who commented: “Given our lead position on the LME, we have long brokered metals products for Japanese clients. From the many discussions we had both at the Gala, and more broadly from travels in the region, we are seeing new growth opportunities within this market.”

Marex Spectron’s Asian business is carried out through Marex Spectron’s group of companies in Hong Kong and Singapore, with extensive clients and products brokered across the region.
