Charity – 2019

Our employees took part in some extraordinary events and raised plenty of money for multiple charities. This included a fund-raising day for one of our colleagues, run by our energy desks, that raised an unbelievable $1.5 million. We have had colleagues run marathons, including the London Marathon, New York Marathon, Sierra Leone Marathon and the London Royal Parks Half Marathon, amongst others, raising money for various charities, such as Motoneuron Disease, American Cancer Society and Save the Rhino. But it is not just running that our colleagues have been involved in, but also cycling, with one colleague riding from Billericay to Paris and another taking part in the gruelling Alpe d’Huez challenge, and we even had a colleague take part in a panto horse race for a local charity. And these are just a few of the events taking place during the year… while our annual Christmas jumper day yet again saw some fantastic knitwear as colleagues raised money for Save the Children.
