Marex Spectron Launches Marex Clearing Services Platform

Marex Spectron, the global commodities broker, has today announced the launch of Marex Clearing Services, a clearing and execution business exclusively focused on the wholesale market, including banks, funds, asset managers, corporates and trading groups.

Marex Clearing Services will be based in 155 Bishopsgate with a presence at Copthall Avenue. This dedicated team will offer comprehensive clearing and execution services to existing clients, as well as providing a competitive proposition to the global trading community. This market-leading platform includes global connectivity and infrastructure, top-tier positioning across multiple markets and global exchanges, and bespoke clearing technology.

As part of this development, the Pro Trader division will be closed before year end, with the larger existing clients moved into Marex Clearing Services. The refocus reflects the strengths of the group supporting high volume, significant, wholesale participants as well as changing regulatory and market dynamics. Smaller accounts will transfer to Tower Trading Group (TTG), one of our long-term clearing clients and a market leading professional trading group.
