Marex Spectron completes acquisition of XFA

LONDON/CHICAGO, 16 November 2020 – Marex Spectron today announced that on Friday, 13 November 2020, it completed the acquisition of X-Change Financial Access (XFA), the fast-growing exchange-traded derivatives (ETD) execution broker.

XFA is ranked #1 in S&P 500 Index Options (SPX), with a 50% market share on the CBOE by number of contracts traded over the past 2 years and is ranked in the top two firms by volume (25% market share) in Volatility Index Options (VIX). XFA is the trusted provider to the largest and most sophisticated clients who utilise their products.

This transaction broadens Marex Spectron’s product range, further strengthens its North American presence and builds on its global clearing infrastructure, while providing XFA clients with ready access to complementary products and services.

Today, Marex Spectron has 18 offices worldwide, with over 950 employees across Europe, Asia and North America.
