Andrew Strickland joins Marex Spectron as Co-Head of Coal

October 8, 2015

Andrew joins Marex Spectron from Griffin Markets Ltd, where he was a founder partner and Managing Director of Options. Jeremy Elliott, Managing Director, Energy at Marex Spectron, said: “Andrew is one of the most respected figures in the energy markets, not just as a successful broker but also as an innovator who has driven the development of our industry’s technology platforms and trading infrastructure. We are extremely pleased to welcome him to Marex Spectron where his extensive experience and vast knowledge will help to drive our already strong coal business.”

Andrew will be based in London and will manage Marex Spectron’s coal broking operations alongside Nick Lygoe. Both Andrew and Nick report directly to Jeremy Elliott.
