Eagle is a provider of over-the-counter derivatives within the energy market, specialising in options. Acquiring Eagle gives Marex price discovery capabilities and a high-quality, respected team, as well as additional capabilities in Environmental products. The combination of Eagle and Marex Environmental will accelerate growth in Marex’s Environmental business.

Marex has a strong track-record of acquiring businesses and enabling them to grow. The acquisition of Eagle accelerates Marex’s strategy to increase the scale, diversification and global footprint of its environmental products offering as it seeks to be a leading provider of environmental commodities and support clients with the transition to a low carbon economy.
