The Operations Client Support department sits within the operations function, providing direct support to clients, front office and control & support areas within the organisation on a global basis.

Responsibilities:

• To Manage direct reports ensuring 1-2-1 meetings, objectives adherence and appraisals are all completed within the appropriate Time frames.
• Daily management of client services support team
• Maintain efficiencies and oversight associated to client fees and commissions
• Maintain efficiencies and oversight associated to client trade break queries
• Develop Marex clearing client portal to adhere to client and internal user requests and experience
• Ensure all members of the team are cross trained effectively
• Working closely with clients & front office salesman, assisting with all queries & requirements
• Provide assistance with any audit requests both internally and externally
• Provide assistance with the onboarding of new exchanges / CCP’s and new business initiatives
• Reporting critical issues to operations senior management
• Implementing new processes and automation where feasible
• Ensure written procedures are in place and up to date for the Department
• Efficient email management, including both personal & group mailboxes
• Ensuring compliance with the company’s regulatory requirements under the FCA.
• Adhere to the operational risk framework for your role ensuring that all regulatory or company determined parameters are complied with.
• Role model for demonstrating highest level standards of integrity and conduct and reflecting Company Values.
• At all times complying with the FCA’s Code of Conduct
• To ensure that you are fully aware of and adhere to internal policies that relate to you, your role or any other activities for which you have any level of responsibility
• To report any breaches of policy to Compliance and/ or your supervisor as required
• To escalate risk events immediately
• To provide input to risk management processes, as required.

Skills & Experience:

• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a busy environment
• Good communication skills within the team & other business areas
• Punctual & enthusiastic
• Flexible & accustomed to constant changing responsibilities
• Demonstrates enhanced understanding of Futures & Options industry in areas including; Reconciliations, Position Maintenance, Margin Calls, Delivery & Expiries and general client service
• Knowledge of XTP Back Office system
• Problem solving skills; ability to resolve issues in a timely & efficient manner
• MS Office experience
• Able to work on own initiative & be part of a team
• Attention to detail
• Ability to develop and enhance systems and processes to improve efficiency
• Experience working in a regulated environment and knowledge of the risk and compliance requirements associated with this.
