 Role Summary

The Client Services Executive will be part of the Marex Hedging Solutions Division based in London. His/Her role is primarily to assist the sales team in the Onboarding phase of the client acquisition stage, periodical reviews and account management. The role extends to the management of the lifecycle of client relationship and transactions and is a client facing role. The perimeter encompasses all asset classes and client types under HS current mandate.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the KYC process within Marex Hedging Solutions across both new Client Onboarding and Periodic Reviews
  • Performing periodic reviews for clients by confirming KYC data requirements, collecting relevant KYC information etc
  • Liaising between prospective clients and Sales to gather all information and documentation requirements for the onboarding of clients.
  • Be the conduit between credit teams and sales teams so that reviews are handled promptly.
  • Develop a good understanding of key systems and end to end processes across Marex Solutions
  • Co-ordinate with internal teams with regards to lifecycle management related activities e.g., account opening & closing, KYC period reviews, mandate changes, operational set up, SSIs, Agile etc
  • Assisting with new client set up in Agile and client permissions setups with operations
  • Handling daily wire-out requests from clients & ad-hoc new SSI set-ups
  • Picking up daily ad-hoc queries such as statement / settlement / MTM questions / requests for sftp connections / changing distributions list / occasional manual invoices
  • Ability to quickly understand and resolve client issues
  • Ensuring compliance with the company’s regulatory requirements under the FCA.
  • Adhere to the operational risk framework for your role ensuring that all regulatory or company determined parameters are complied with.

  • At all times complying with the FCA Code of Conduct /Marex’s Code of Conduct
  • To ensure that you are fully aware of and adhere to internal policies that relate to you, your role or any other activities for which you have any level of responsibility
  • To report any breaches of policy to Compliance and/ or your supervisor as required
  • To escalate risk events immediately

Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in Onboarding/ KYC procedures and regulations in the UK and under EMIR/MIFID environment
  • Display excellent communication skills while liaising with clients
  • Ability to interact smoothly and effectively with multiple internal stakeholders involved in the specs of his/her role, namely KYC, QC, EDD, FC,  Legal, Credit, Ops and sales teams 
  • Proven knowledge of Microsoft Office applications as well as internal apps and system
  • Experience working in a regulated environment and knowledge of the risk and compliance requirements associated with this.
