This is a role within Marex’s Group Treasury department. The role requires an ambitious and motivated individual who is looking to develop in a fast-paced environment and take on increasing responsibilities as their skill set grows.

This role will focus on the reconciliation of mainly bank accounts for a specific business division. The candidate will join an existing team that is servicing both Nostro, Exchange and Broker reconciliations. There is an expectation of cross training in both directions to always ensure adequate coverage. In the long term, the role also offers cross-training and broader appreciation of related Treasury Operations functions to include Securities Settlements, Cash and Liquidity Management, General Ledger Postings and Systems Administration.

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily reconciliations of group banking (Nostro) accounts, ensuring accuracy of cash‑at‑bank balances and managing any required escalations.
• Coordinate across teams to investigate and resolve queries, including KYC requests, reconciliation breaks, and General Ledger mis‑postings.
• Reconcile FX positions on a daily basis and process FX settlements in line with internal controls and deadlines.
• Perform daily reconciliations of term deposits and other non‑cash collateral or pledged assets held with custodians or counterparties.
• Develop an understanding of cash‑balancing and cash‑management activities, including reconciling cash positions with custodians, brokers or exchanges.
• Develop an understanding of securities settlement processes, including trade matching, settlement cycles, etc.
• Ensure compliance with internal authorisation frameworks, including approval limits, payment controls, and segregation‑of‑duties requirements.

Skills & Experience:

• Finance‑based education or experience in a finance or operations role (preferred).
• Basic understanding of accounting principles, including journals, ledgers, and reconciliations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (formulas, data handling) and Word.
• Experience using FIS Data Integrity Manager (DIM) for reconciliation processes (preferred).
• Adaptable and eager to learn, with the ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment. As part of a small team, cross‑training and supporting colleagues across multiple functions is essential.
• Knowledge of SWIFT standards and/or securities settlement processes (preferred).
• Strong team player with a collaborative mindset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally.
