OTC Commodity Sales

Role Summary

• OTC Commodity sales based in Singapore.
• Covering SE Asia / India corporates
• Product focus: Energy (including Coal and Carbon) and or Agriculture

Overall Responsibilities

Key responsibilities:
• Grow the client franchise by prospecting and onboarding suitable clients for OTC hedging.
• Responsible for co-ordinating the KYC, credit approval and legal paperwork
• Pricing and deal execution
• Attend conferences and relevant networking events to expand client portfolio.
• Help in any new business initiatives and product rollouts.
• May need to travel overseas depending on client coverage
• Comply with all applicable regulatory and internal policies and procedures.

The Company may require you to carry out other duties from time to time.

Competencies, Skills and Experience

• 5-6 years of direct sales experience in a derivative sales role in a bank, trading house or NBFI
• Understanding of derivative products
• Familiarity with the onboarding / credit approval process
• Good attitude and self-starter
• Strategic collaborator with insight and agility, able to anticipate future challenges, ensuring operational effectiveness
• Experience working in a regulated environment and knowledge of the risk and compliance requirements associated with this.
