Purpose of Role:
Marex is seeking a Livestock Commodity Broker who understands livestock commodity markets, precise order execution skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic trading environment. The role is responsible for maintaining and building client relationships, executing trades, and providing quality market analysis – all with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.

Allegiant Commodity Group is a division within Marex and specializes in the livestock space and has broad reach spanning the commercial and investment side. The team has over 20 years of experience. As a niche livestock brokerage group, Allegiant provides value add to Marex’s large client offerings.
Responsibilities:
- Quick and accurate execution of trades on behalf of clients while ensuring compliance with industry regulations using multiple systems.
- Analyze and discuss market trends, supply and demand factors, and geopolitical events affecting commodity prices.
- Provide clients with timely market updates, pricing strategies, and risk management solutions.
- Work closely with internal research and trading teams to develop profitable trading strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of transactions and client interactions.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and ensure all trades/communication comply with legal requirements.
- Assisting in daily operations confirming client transactions.
- Light database management in Excel.
- Working efficiently and supporting with making efficiencies, including but not limited to collaborating with data, research and analytics colleagues to identify opportunities for hedging strategies and clients.
- Responsible for assisting with the onboarding of any new client relationships and maintaining of existing client relationships, assisting with support processes as required by colleagues, and engaging and updating clients..
- Working efficiently and supporting with making efficiencies e.g. assisting in the preparation of any new required frameworks.
- Ensuring compliance with the company’s regulatory requirements under the SEC, FINRA, NFA, CFTC and other applicable exchanges.
- Adhere to the operational risk framework for your role ensuring that all regulatory or company determined parameters are complied with
- Role model for demonstrating highest level standards of integrity and conduct and reflecting Company Values.
- Carrying out regulatory activities under the Marex Financial and MSIL trading books.
- Liaising with clients in globally but mainly in North America.
- At all times complying with Marex’s Code of Conduct
- To ensure that you are fully aware of and adhere to internal policies that relate to you, your role or any other activities for which you have any level of responsibility.
- To report any breaches of policy to Compliance and/ or your supervisor as required.
- To escalate risk events immediately.
- To provide input to risk management processes, as required.

Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field.
- Series 3 preferred (required within 4 to 6 months on the job).
- Ability to write concise business style market commentary.
- At least intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Willingness to travel.
- Proactive mindset in keeping up to date with market research and incorporating into role efficiently.
- Analytical skills, identifying opportunities and risks in a quick and decisive manner.
- Excellent mathematical and numerical ability (adding, subtracting, multiplication, etc.)
- Comprehensive knowledge of the financial service markets and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Trade Order Execution experience is required.
- Experience working in a regulated environment and knowledge of the risk and compliance requirements associated with this.
Salary Range: $45,000 to $55,000 per year and eligible for discretionary bonus (Quarterly).
