Mason describes his experience of life as a graduate at Marex.
I graduated from West Virginia University in December 2025 with a B.S. in Finance and a minor in Accounting, and I joined the Client Onboarding team at Marex in New York in February 2026. Prior to Marex, I completed an internal audit internship at a regional bank, where I focused primarily on documentation review. That experience strengthened my attention to detail, time management skills, and ability to work efficiently under deadlines – skills that are directly valuable in my current role.
I am an onboarding analyst based in New York.
No day is the same. In onboarding, we follow Know Your Client (KYC) and anti-money laundering (AML) requirements. My day consists of reviewing and verifying client information, collecting documents, adhering to regulatory requirements, and working closely with other teams.
I really enjoy working with my team. My manager is highly knowledgeable about onboarding and is great at teaching us the processes. Our team is an important part of the business, and we get a broad overview of how the organization works. It’s great to feel that my everyday work makes a difference at a large company like Marex.
