Marex Spectron Further Expands Working Capital Facility

Marex Spectron, the leading global commodities broker, has announced that Barclays Bank has joined Lloyds Bank and Bank Leumi, in its working capital facility, bringing the total size of the facility to $65 million.

Ian Lowitt, Marex Spectron’s chief executive officer, said: “We are delighted to have Barclays join the facility. Increased availability of working capital helps the firm satisfy rising demands from clients in our core commodity businesses.”

The facility is designed to support the firm’s growth at a time when banks and other competitors are leaving the industry, creating opportunities for Marex Spectron.
